* If you want to enter the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, this programme provides an excellent training; and is an an ideal introduction for overseas students who may wish to proceed to PhD studies in the UK.
* You can choose to specialise within the overall programme title of MRes in Biomedical Sciences: so you may concentrate on one area of study and graduate with the specific degree title of, for example, MRes in Biomedical Sciences (Biotechnology).

Research projects
You will undertake two 20-week research projects (one project only for the PgDip), as well as some advanced theoretical study. Projects are offered by a wide range of staff at the University as well as other local institutes, and some departments of the University of Strathclyde.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
