The programme is designed to take account of participants’ prior knowledge and experience and the different departmental contexts in which they teach or support learning; it does not offer a fixed schedule of workshops that all participants are expected to attend as it is recognised that a one size fits all approach is unlikely to meet the personal and professional development needs of staff teaching a wide variety of subjects; instead, participants negotiate, via a personal development plan (PDP), development activities that meet their individual needs and enable them to achieve the unit learning outcomes; the PDP must be agreed by the participants with a course adviser and their department mentor.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
