Location of Reims Management School

The full time, 12-month programme, taught in English at the Reims Management School campus, aims at delivering knowledge in both finance and global banking industries.

The academic structure includes over 400 learning hours, starting in September until May next year, following up an internship optional, a dissertation mandatory and completed by a study tour abroad .

The courses offered on the 1st term from September to December are 100% dedicated for CFA preparation. One of the most demanding courses in modern financial courses, “Behavioural finance” is included in our financial courses. In 2nd semester from January to April, the master participants have the possibility to choose either focus on “International Banking” or on “Islamic Finance & Banking” . Reims Management School is the only and the first French Business School to deliver Islamic Finance and Banking in cooperation with International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance, Malaysia.

In addition, Participants can attend in the training courses for Reuters© Certification offered by the school in May.

They can choose to carry out a 4-to-6 month internship optional, in France or abroad or fully concentrate on the professional thesis and the preparation of the CFA examination level 1.

Study Tour: The previous intake students who carried out a one week study tour in Octobre 2010 were hosted by New York University. The lectures focused on the US banking system, hedge fund and shadow financing. It provides the participants conceptual, interpretive and analytical tools to full understand the US banking system.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

  • Min a Bachelor holder in related education background : Business, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Science, information Technology, Engineering.   • English proficiency: either TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS score is required for the English proficiency. The applicants with the native language is an English can be exempted from the English requirement.
  • working experience: It is not a requirement but whether professional experience or short term internship experience is an plus while in studying the application file.

For the applicants who have passed CFA level I examination prior to join the programme, he/she will benefit a tuition fee deduction offered by the school.

  • Reims Management School Masters scholarships

Reims Management School delivers a limited number of grants to overseas students of the programmes taught in Reims, depending on academic, professional and financial criteria.

  • Egide scholarship –Eiffel programme

The scholarship programme Eiffel, supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, enables the funding of studies at Masters level in a French higher education establishment.

  • RMS partner banks offer student loans to overseas participants at competitive rates, subject to acceptance of your application.
  • Reims Management School Foundation

The objective of the RMS Foundation is to set up and maintain a fund whicxh will support the development of Reims Management School in France and abroad.
Under the aegis of the Foundation of France, RMS Foundation attributes study grants to French and overseas students who are particularly involved in humanitarian and social actions.
In order to apply for a grant, candidates must give evidence of an exemplary academic career record (academic excellence, personal achievements etc.) and also of real material hardship.

French participants

Different funding methods are possible, depending on the professional status of the candidate.

  • Students: “Contrat de professionnalisation”

Candidates admitted to the Reims Management School Masters programmes are now entitled to pursue their studies within the framework of a "contrat de professionnalisation" (opportunity to do paid work with the cost of studies totally or partially taken care of by the employer and a “passport for employment”).
This “contrat de professionnalisation” is available to young people under 26 years old.

  • Registered unemployed (no age limit):

Funding within the framework of a “Projet Personnalisé d'Accès à l'Emploi” (personalised project for access to work) (from French job centres...) or within the framework of the contrat de professionnalisation.

  • Salared workers:

Congé Individuel de Formation (personal training leave) funded by FONGECIF or training plan funded by the company.
Reims Management School has signed agreements with partner banks to offer participants student loans at competitive rates.
