Presentation

The aim of the Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering is for students to achieve this second level of training in Chemical Engineering, so that students who satisfactorily complete the course will have advanced knowledge of both process and product design, and research and development. They will carry out projects in the area of industrial innovation, largely in companies outside the university.

Requirements

  • University degree in Chemistry or related areas.
  • Selection criteria:
  1. Suitability of the qualification: maximum of 30 of points in accordance with the
    following order:
    • Degrees in Engineering and Architecture: maximum of 30 points,
    • Degrees in the Sciences maximum of 25 points,
    • Others: no points.
  2. Evaluation of the academic transcript for the official university qualification that allows access to the Master's degree: maximum of 30 points.
  3. Level of English greater than the minimum requirement (B1): maximum of 10 points.
  4. University and country of origin: maximum of 10 points.
  5. Complementary training and work experience related to the contents of the master's degree (courses, seminars or other training activities, accredited with the appropriate documentation): maximum of 10 points.
  6. Other relevant criteria such as study visits (of at least 4 weeks and accredited with the appropriate documentation), motivation, letter of recommendation, personal interview: maximum of 10 points.

Funding details

The Rovira i Virgili University offers grants aimed at new international students who want to study a university master’s degree. The grants consist of the tuition fee (all taxes included) and a study bursary.

This master will have at least one student awarded with a grant.
