The Master’s degree program is aimed at applicants who wish to pursue challenging professions at national and international institutions in economic policy and economic research, work at private companies, work in public administration, or pursue a career in academia and research.
Students will learn advanced modern methods of economic theory and empirical economic research. Student can select courses in accordance to their interests and specialize in a variety of economic topics including international trade and commerce, job market and labor economics, industrial economics or economics in the public sector. Courses will be held mainly in English and will enable students to acquire active and passive language skills on a professional and multidisciplinary level.
Students who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree program in Business with a major in Economics can pursue their intended career and broaden their knowledge of economics by selecting specialized courses from other fields of business studies. First-year students in the Master’s degree program in Economics who did not specialized in Economics during their undergraduate studies in business must enroll in the course "Principles in Economics and Management" to cover base knowledge in methods of economic theory and empiricism in the Master’s degree program.
