This field of study is offered as a Baccalaureate/Bachelors program in Technical Mathematics (six semesters) and allows students to select from 3 electives. The program is an in-depth Magister/Masters programs (four semesters each) in the areas of mathematics for natural sciences, industrial mathematics or computer mathematics.
During the program of study, depending on the selected area of study, great emphasis is placed on the industrial and expert feasibility of knowledge. Students studying technical mathematics learn by simulation how to research the functions inside of a blast furnace, or how to “teach” a computer to automatically find proof of mathematical theorems.
