You will be able to evaluate the concept of leadership and its application to drug and alcohol service settings; describe the nature of teamwork and its application in drug and alcohol settings; analyse leadership and management within a continuous improvement model; and explain and contrast managing change and improvement in drug and alcohol settings in the UK and Scotland.

* PgCert: 9 months full-time; 18 months part-time

The training is offered flexibly through three full-day sessions each semester, supported by extensive online materials.

Requirements

Entry requirements for postgraduate taught programmes are a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent qualification (for example, GPA 3.0 or above) in a relevant subject unless otherwise specified.

Applicants for this programme must also be employed in a related field.

If your first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level
