A key aim of the PG Cert is to support academics beginning their careers. The programme commences with a two day introductory event to put into context the development of a professional approach towards academic practice in higher education. Participants then study eight modules and undertake three teaching observations aimed at linking theory and practice.
A key aim of the PG Dip is to develop participants' competence in designing, developing, implementing, evaluating and critically reflecting on substantial and systematic enquiry into specific areas of learning and teaching related to their discipline in higher education.
Participants are awarded a MA upon completion of a dissertation based on the research proposal from the PG Dip.
IELTS
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
