The MSc Risk Management has been the industry standard for over a decade – being based upon expertise from a department that offers the only undergraduate risk management programme in the UK. Your year studying risk management with us will give you a broad based focus on ‘corporate’ or ‘business’ risk management.

You will develop systematic approaches to risk management across both the public and private sectors and be introduced to how risk and uncertainty is needed in all aspects of management including: strategy, investment decisions, projects, asset utilisation, business continuity, corporate security, health & safety, legal liabilities and risk financing.

This course equips students for risk manager roles which have a strong emphasis on the management of a major portfolio of insurances, and is affiliated with @font-face { font-family: "Cambria Math"; }@font-face { font-family: "Calibri"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; }.MsoChpDefault { }.MsoPapDefault { margin-bottom: 10pt; line-height: 115%; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; }the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
