The master's degree provides advanced professional training in the field of archival and recordsmanagement of historical and administrative documents in all formats. It also provides all the skills you will need to apply archival techniques and the incorporation of new technologies in the creation of files and the design of recordsmanagement systems.
Skills acquired
* Demonstrate an advanced level of comprehension of the evolution of concepts and foundations of archives administration, of the legal regime of documents and the techniques and methodologies of archival and recordsmanagement.
* Apply specific knowledge, techniques and methodologies to the design, analysis, implementation and administration of management systems in all types of public and private organisations, both in conventional and in electronic formats.
* Use your skills and develop your work in complex situations while respecting the ethical commitment of your profession with society in order to facilitate and promote the access of documents and guarantee the protection of personal data, as well as to conserve and disseminate this heritage as a contribution to society's collective memory.
* Transmit information and knowledge on the actions carried out and results obtained to a specialised audience, to training programmes for organisation staff, and for cultural dissemination and promotion.
* Demonstrate having the necessary learning skills to continue an independent learning process with the aim of updating your knowledge in the field of archival and recordsmanagement.
This master's degree is oriented towards professional fields, but does not offer any specialisations or itineraries.

The master's degree is aimed at people interested in both the administrative and historical aspects of documents and their production both in traditional formats and those created with information technology applications.
You must have a capacity for innovation, organisation, time management, communication, and for inter-disciplinary and team work.
