English-language programme examines the politics, culture, history, & international context of the European Union. Three specialisations are available. Focuses on research & professional skills.

The master's in European Studies is an advanced, interdisciplinary programme focusing on the European Union in its broader political, cultural, historical and international context. You can choose between three specialisations: European International Politics, European Politics and Administration, and Europe from a Global Perspective. The programme aims to deepen your knowledge of the EU and its policies, and refine your research and professional skills. It is a one-year programme taught in English. This programme commences in September and comprises of 60 EC.

Written request: discussing: 1. your particular interests in European Studies and/or the EU 2. which of the three specialisations in the programme you wish to follow and why 3. what topic you think you might like to research for your masters thesis 4. how you feel you are qualified to follow the programme (particularly important for those coming from disciplines other than social science)
