Training professionals to design and implement integrated management models in the prevention of technological, occupational, environmental, quality and social responsibility risks in businesses, public administration offices and social entities.

Skills acquired

* Applying the concept of occupational and technological risks in the management of prevention services.
* Analysing and assessing the preventive role of different agents in an organisation or a company.
* Understanding and assessing the legal frameworks applied in different institutions.
* Assessing the results of applying preventive policies.
* Exploring new perspectives of technologicalriskmanagement and designing new models of integral management and exterior prevention services.
* Applying the concept of hygiene in the management of prevention services.
* Applying the concept of social psychology and ergonomics in the management of prevention services.
* Applying the concept of technological risks.
* Implementing prevention and management measures, training and information programmes for other agents involved in the workplace or company.
* Working with indicators that already exist as well as creating new ones.

* Demonstrate the ethical skills needed for interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
* Analyse, synthesise and apply new ideas.
* Take decisions and adapt to new situations.
* Obtain pertinent data from adequate sources and process the information needed to carry out research projects.

Requirements

Ideal student profile

Persons interested in one or several of the areas included in the master'sdegree or have professional experience and would like to gain knowledge and skills and learn more about the design and implementation of integrated prevention and management systems of technological and occupational risks, or in management tasks of this sector.

Admission

* Three-year degree in Industrial Relations, Business Studies, Tourism, Social Work or Social Education.
* Technical engineers and advanced engineers.
* Four-year degress in Environmental Sciences, Physics, Law, Chemistry, Veterinary Medicine or Food Sciences and Techniques.
* If you have a qualification in other fields your admission will be determined by the Admissions Committee.
* You will also be accepted if you have obtained a degree in the aforementioned studies from a university abroad.

Selection criteria

* Student record
* Professional experience related to the contents of the master'sdegree.
* Two or more of the qualifications listed under the admissions requirements.
* Personal interview.

If you have an advanced engineering degree in occupational risks you will be admitted directly to the second year and will need to take 60 ECTS credits.
