English-language programme trains students to become economists who work on the international level for companies, the government & non-profit organisations. Five specialisations are available.
Are you interested in why economic policy decisions are made, whether they work and what effect they have on people, businesses and national economies? International Economic Studies is truly interdisciplinary: not only does it blend theory with practice; it also covers everything from social and political dilemmas to competition regulation to public- and private-sector development. Well-qualified economists make valuable strategic decision makers in any company, government or non-profit organisation. Within this programme, you have the choice between five specialisations: * Behavioural Economics * European Economic Policy * Competition and Regulation * Public Economics * Social Economics International Economic Studies is taught entirely in English and takes one year to complete.
