This programme covers all aspects of the relationship between physical activity and health in healthy individuals, patients and professional athletes.
You learn how to develop and conduct analyses of exercise programmes, evaluate the physiological, biomechanical, psychological and neurological effects of interventions and create new intervention initiatives. You learn how to apply biological knowledge of cells, tissues, organs and entire organisms to address questions, such as: 1) what kinds of exercise are suitable for people with heart problems? 2) how can we improve artificial limbs for athletes? 3) what sort of grass is best for professional football pitches?
