Location of ESADE Business School
The ESADE Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is geared towards individuals with ambitions to create business opportunity and corporate innovation management.
The programme’s main objective is to equip candidates with the tools and skills necessary to develop ideas and to foster a ‘can do’ entrepreneurial mentality for new business enterprises. Participants will learn the essentials of entrepreneurial management and explore the areas of opportunity evaluation, business models design and project implementation.
The ultimate goal of this specialization Master is to prepare participants to lead and manage innovation in all its fields: from the management of corporate innovation systems to the creation of new business ventures and the management of innovation within companies (new products, services, business models and processes).
The Programme is sponsored by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s InnoEnergy, the Knowledge Innovation Community in sustainable energy KIC InnoEnergy, whose function is to stimulate innovation towards sustainable economic growth and guaranteethe competitiveness of European companies. This sponsorship will make it possible to award 12 scholarships to students from the six Co-location Centres that form part of InnoEnergy: Alps Valley, Benelux (Belgium and The Nederlands), Germany, Iberia (Spain and Portugal), Poland and Sweden.

Management Immersion Programme - For students with NO background in management
In order to foster multidisciplinary innovation, the Master is geared towards individuals with different academic backgrounds: management, science and engineering, amongst others. The Management Immersion Programme is designed to provide participants who have no former business training with the necessary tools to understand the corporations as an economically driven complex human organization. This intensive programme has a workload of 24 ECTS and will be delivered over a six-week period during the summer (aprox. 6 class hours per day).
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Academic background
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management or similar disciplines (official qualification).
- The MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is also designed for engineering, science and technical graduates. Students with these academic profiles are required to complete the Management Immersion Programme, an intensive summer programme (24 ECTS), designed to give them the grounding in management basics that they will need to enroll on the MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Languages
Proficiency in English is a must. English language level tests accepted with minimum scores as follows (valid only for two years):
- TOEFL: 100+ (ESADE's code is 0507)
- IELTS: 7.0+
- Certificate in Advanced English: B+
- Certificate of Proficiency in English: C+
- PTE Academic: 72+
If you are a native English speaker, or you studied at an English-speaking university (min. 3 academic years), you do not need to prove your level as long as you can submit the corresponding documentation.
No knowledge of Spanish is required for MSc candidates. The CEMS MIM programme requires a basic level of Spanish (level A2) which will be assessed during the telephone interview that forms part of the Admissions process.

Accreditation
- AACSB International: ESADE was the first business school in Spain and
the seventh in Europe to achieve this quality accreditation, awarded by The

and which grants the most prestigious international recognition in
management education. - EQUIS: ESADE was the first business school in Spain and one of the first
European institutions to be accredited by the European Quality Improvement

Development (EFMD). - AMBA: The MBA Programmes at ESADE have been accredited internationally by
the Association of MBAs (AMBA) since 1994. - CEMS: ESADE is a founding member of CEMS and the only Spanish institution

education in this subject.

ESADE Talent Grants
ESADE has an ambitious grants policy for talented participants on the MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. These grants cover up to 75% of the programme’s total fees. In exceptional cases, ESADE will also consider the possibility of providing outstanding participants with a full grant to cover programme fees.
