Prepares students for a career in biological or cognitive psychology with a focus on research skills. English-language programme has six specialisations within two fields.
Psychology is a challenging master's programme that prepares students for a professional career in one of the emerging fields of biological and cognitive psychology. The programme is research-driven and offers six specialisations : Developmental Psychology Cognitive Neuroscience Neuropsychology Health and Social Psychology Psychology and Law Work and Organisational Psychology. Each specialisation starts with four theoretical courses combined with academic, research and professional skills trainings. The second part of the year is devoted to planning and carrying out a research internship under the supervision of the academic staff. A substantial number of students do this internship abroad with one of our many international research partners. You complete the master's programme by writing a master's thesis on your research internship.

Psychology and Law:
The aim of the specilisation in Psychology and Law is to familiarise you with typical themes in the domain of Psychology and Law.
Work and Organisational Psychology:
The specialisation in Work and Organisational Psychology combines theoretical knowledge on the cognitive aspects of work behaviour with practical applications in the workplace.
Developmental Psychology:
Developmental Psychology is the study of the development of behaviour and cognitive functions during the lifespan, from infancy to old age.
Cognitive Neuroscience:
Cognitive Neuroscience unravels the cognitive and neural mechanisms that are at work in the core aspects of human behaviour.
Neuropsychology:
The Neuropsychology specialisation focuses on cognition, the brain, and behaviour in health and disease.
Health and Social Psychology:
The Health and Social Psychology specialisation studies the nature and origin of bad habits from a multidisciplinary perspective.
