The programme offers a wide choice of modules which cover a range of issues relating to construction economics, providing students with the necessary skills to manage costs and value of construction projects and financial control in the modern industry. Students who successfully complete the degree will be able to work in a studied, systematic fashion, and be able to make sound judgments based on a broad range of both practical and theoretical understanding.

The programme is designed to accept honours degree graduates, with a 2:2 and above, or equivalent in any discipline. However, it is highly recommended that applicants should have previous work experience in the construction or property industry. Candidates without formal degree level qualifications may be accepted on to the programme subject to relevant industry experience and discussions with the admissions tutor.
Candidates whose normal medium of education and work has not been English, will normally be required to present evidence of competence in English as demonstrated by a pass at IELTS level 6 (with no element less than 5.5) or TOEFL 550 (80 internet-based test).
