This programme aims to train the neuroimaging researchers of tomorrow by focusing on teaching the scientific and methodological aspects of neuroimaging techniques in tandem with their application to psychiatry, neurology, psychology, clinical psychology, neuroscience, and beyond, in specialisms from autism to motor neurone disease.
In addition to theoretical approaches, the course has a strong applied element, allowing students to gain practical experience of scanning techniques, with a focus on the skills needed to run a scanning session and to analyse and interpret the data produced. By covering all aspects of neuroimaging, from imaging physics to its applications in the study of rare clinical populations our goal is to provide students with a broad set of skills, which will help them to thrive in their ensuing career choices.
