This master's programme will provide advanced level understanding of contemporary debates about creative cities drawing upon the disciplines of cultural studies, media and communications, and geography. It has a specific focus on the interaction of social, cultural and economic aspects of urbanisation and the particular issues and dilemmas it presents for urban citizens and urban governance. The programme seeks to explore these issues in an international context.
