The programme builds on a practitioner's existing skills and experience to enable them to lead and support the development and subsequent delivery of evidence-based practice. Students study core modules in evidence-based practice, healthcare research, and clinical leadership and assessment. Students then devise a specific programme of study by choosing options to meet their needs and interests. To complete the 180 credits for the MSc the student may take 2-3 optional modules from a diverse range of more than 30 level 6 (BSc) and level 7 (MSc) modules of study. These options include modules on clinical specialities such as cardiac care, orthopaedics, diabetes or gastro-intestinal nursing and modules on generic topics such as mentorship and teaching. Students will also be able to utilise their previous clinical experience as credits in clinical portfolios where they are given the opportunity to analyse and critique their clinical practice.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
