Modular programme comprising five modules totalling 180 credits. Annual opportunity to meet tutors and fellow students at intensive face to face courses in the UK in the first two years. Access to state of the art clinical facilities at LonDEC (Waterloo Campus) during the face to face courses.
Aimed at dentists who have an established dental practice seeking to gain knowledge for an evidence-based approach to aesthetic treatment, the course provides:
• Up-to-date information, theory, support and discussion groups through King's online virtual learning environment
• Clinical work carried out in the student's dental practice with material being submitted for assessment
• An MSc level dissertation produced in the third year.
• Submission, marking and return of assignments through the virtual learning environment
• Face-to-face intensive block courses once per year, providing the necessary practical training, followed up in the student's own practice with the submission of practical exercises for feedback and further tuition
• Examinations held in student's home country with one written paper per module
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

• Employment as a dentist in a dental practice, dental school, hospital, or community dental services environment.
Minimum computer specification• Applicants must meet the requirements of the minimum computer specification before registration.
Access to facilities and equipment• Adequate clinical facilities and an appropriate selection of patients;
• Approved video equipment, as part of the monitoring process (advice on this will be given in the first Intensive Face-to-Face course);
• Access to an appropriate dental library.
