This programme is delivered entirely through e-learning. The MA and PG Dip in French Language & Culture is a new modular programme at King's and is co-taught with the Modern Language Centre. This programme is for students with a very advanced level of French and with advanced ability in textual analysis and argumentation (at least level C1 of the European Framework for languages, and/or IIi in French at BA level or equivalent) wishing to: -acquire an in-depth understanding of aspects of French culture via the study of contemporary and other writing/cultural materials; -improve their formal writing and other language skills in order to reach a near-native level; -possess the confidence to use writing in a professional or academic French environment.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testGraduates of French: minimum 2:1 and/or a minimum of five years’ teaching experience of French at Advanced level; and/or native-level or near-native-level proficiency in spoken and written French, and previous qualifications/demonstrable ability in written analysis and argumentation.
