The syllabus uniquely focuses on the business opportunities and financial flows driven by society’s response to climate change (carbon finance).
The MSc in Carbon Finance will appeal to graduates with significant work experience in business, government or the NGO sector.
Typically students will not have had an opportunity to specialise in climate change but will want to move into a career in the carbon markets or in climate change investment, consulting or carbon accounting.
Likely future roles include carbon credit development, carbon trading, carbon consulting, carbon accounting and related policy or regulatory roles (e.g. with government or NGOs).
This MSc offers an intensive exploration of a subject crucial to the future of business and, of course, the planet itself. Very few business schools in the world have a similar depth of expertise in carbon finance.

An honours degree with an 'excellent' or 'very good' classification from a good university in business, economics or a social or physical science subject including some quantitative courses.
Candidates with a first degree in a different area may be considered, subject to provision of some evidence of appropriate mathematical ability.
Work experience is not a requirement for entry to the programme. However, relevant work experience may increase your chances of acceptance.
For students from non-English-speaking countries there will be an English-language requirement. A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 or above on the non-computerised TOEFL test (250+ computer based or 100+ in the internet based TOEFL test) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7 or above is required, or the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).
