This Master's level programme analyses key management areas such as business strategy, operations management, finance and marketing. Specific programme modules give a thorough understanding of the components of supply chains, such as the material and information flows, partnership relations and the analytical and management requirements that facilitate successful supply chain perormance. They detail tools and techniques on how to manage, evaluate and improve the supply chain, logistics and procurement processes of a business in order to contribute significantly to the operation and improvement of contemporary supply chains in a wide range of international environments.
The module option choice adds some specialised knowledge in a particular field, such as cross-cultural management and lean management.
This programme is designed for people who want to progress their career in posts such as supply chain business analyst, procurement manager, inventory controller or logistics manager. Candidates who successfuly complete this programme and meet the conditions specified may apply for membership of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and/or The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. Acceptance will be subject to a formal application form, payment of fees and further criteria as stated by institutes.
