The MSc Management and Information Governance programme spans the domains of management and information governance to provide students with an understanding of management within the modern business environment together with the ability to understand and apply information governance concepts to effectively manage information within organsiations.
The programme focuses on information from a business rather than a technical stance, thereby producing graduates who have an understanding of business and management, and can interpret and understand business information requirements as well as specific information governance issues. In addition, graduates will have the ability to assess the risks involved in retrieval and storage of information, and have knowledge of relevant legislative requirments to instil trust and confidence in business information.
This programme is designed to attract students from a diversity of backgrounds and from various disciplinary areas in both the home and international market.
The programme may attract experienced individuals including information professionals and people seeking to change career. This will bring a range of experiences and perspectives to the learning environment which students can share, thereby enriching the learning experience for all within the programme.

Strategy and Operations Management, Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise, Financial and Budgetary Management, Marketing and PR Management, Personal and Professional Development, Information Governance, Information Assurance, Digital Economy: Law, Ethics and Society, Project Management or Health Informatics or Green IT.
