This intensive and rigorous postgraduate programme is designed for recent high-calibre graduates in non-marketing disciplines who wish to develop competences in marketing as a means of broadening their career opportunities. The aim of the programme is to develop graduates to gain knowledge of business and marketing, and applicable skills required for marketing and leadership positions in industry or the public services. It incorporates the latest academic marketing thinking, theories and practice with live business projects, to ensure it is leading edge in all respects.
Marketing encompasses the various activities that predict customer needs, provide customer solutions, create customer value and build strong customer relationships. This course is exciting and innovative, including a wide range of topics such as global marketing and brand management, consumer behaviour and sustainability, communications, promotion and PR, electronic marketing, strategic marketing, the creative process and the role of technology in the development, communication and sustainability of brands.
