The program Nutrition and Health protection is devoted to the education of food engineers/nutritionists, who are experts in the production of food-related products, such as foods, food components, food additives, etc., and acquired the expertise in nutritional and health-related values of food components as well as in the food analysis and evaluation. They are aware of the harmful effects of food component and food additives. Our students know the processes of production of foods, their storage, use and are aware of risks of food additives. Not least, they acquired skills in managing the technological problems related to foods preparation, foods sales and selection of raw material for the food production. The integral part of this program is the research activity in the nutrition physiology and food analysis.
