Communication, work, or leisure time: digital media are changing the world, while at the same time being subject to perpetual change themselves, often at a rapid pace. Only if we learn to live with this process of constant revision will we be able to mold the future according to our needs, both professional and personal.

Subsequent non-teaching occupational fields

The master's thesis' task is to prove the ability to follow scientific research methods (resp. artistic or design approaches for M.A.) and to contribute to science and/or art in the field of digital media, building on state-of-the-art knowledge and methods.
The topic for such a work can arise from unsolved problems in the prior master's project, can be chosen from topic offers available from several professors and other research staff of the faculty or may even be chosen from other, individual research.

Possibilities for additional qualifications

The graduation enables / authorizes you to take on (promotion) studies for a doctorate.
