As a consequence of technical progress in computer power, computer simulation is no longer restricted to large research institutions but is already useful in small and medium-sized enterprises. Possible implementations range from simulations for product development and the improvement of processes to basic research in the technical area and on the other side from social networks to astrophysics.

The Master course in Industrial Simulation is targeted both at graduates with knowledge of mathematics and simulations (e.g. from the Bachelor course on Industrial Simulation) and at graduates of other disciplines who would like to gain additional knowledge or specialize in the field of computer simulation.
