This course is designed to provide the graduate student with the advanced theoretical knowledge and skills in the interrelated areas of Computer Networking and Computer Security.
Aims
This course is designed to produce graduates with advanced theoretical and practical skills and knowledge in Networking and Security, with a demonstrated ability to perform research on topics related to these fields of study.

Which Days: Monday - Friday
Assessment: The modules are assessed by examination and by continuous assessment. The course is hand on in nature, so many of the modules weigh the continuous assessment element as high as 50%. Two of the modules are assessed by continuous assessment only.
Timetable Hours: 5 credit modules are timetabled at 3 hours per week and 10 credit modules are timetabled at 6 hours per week.
Course Fee: €420 per module
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
