Structural Biology is concerned with the geometrical shape of macromolecules, such as DNA or proteins, their physico-chemical properties, and how these features jointly mediate and control biological processes through time- and location-dependent molecular interactions. Structural Biology is therefore a pervasive discipline within the School with many research collaborations across themes.
