The two-year full-time programme is offered by the Centre for Forensic and Criminological Psychology, and combines academic teaching, research, and professional training during forensic placements. It is open only to Psychology graduates who are registered with the BPS (GBC status).
The two-year part-time programme runs for those employed in a forensic setting sponsored by employers (or self-funded) who are willing to supervise employees in the workplace throughout the course.
The programme is accredited and recognised by the BPS as contributing to training in forensic psychology. At the end of this, you may choose to complete a third year on forensic research and research methods, leading to the award of a Doctorate (ForenPsyD) or third and fourth year part-time for those employed in a forensic setting.
