This programme trains you how to approach and understand the issues related to architecture and the cities. You learn how to use theoretical, historical and experimental approaches to architecture and cities of today. This is a taught programme in which all students undertake training in four modules about theory, history and design-related issues of architecture and urban development. The programme then prepares you for your research to be undertaken as part of your dissertation. You develop an in-depth understanding of architecture, its history, theory and the diversity of its discourse, as well as an appreciation of contemporary cities, while building on your research and analytical skills.
