Reproductive medicine is one of science's growth industries, as the call for increasingly novel treatments to aid reproduction is on the increase. Between one and two per cent of all UK babies are born by IVF and the UK is world-leading in this area. Many other countries look here for education and leadership and a career as a scientist in reproductive medicine is a popular path. The University of Kent has several research groups with a focus on reproductive medicine from a wide range of academic disciplines, for example, genetics, evolution, ethics and the law.
