This programme enables students to study across a wide spectrum of inclusion and special educational needs. It is designed both for those who wish to study a range of campus-based modules relating to ISEN and those on distance education modes who wish to combine modules from two programmes.

It is designed with two distinct groups of participants in mind:
* Those who wish to study a range of campus-based modules relating to ISEN
* Those on distance education modes who wish to combine modules from two programmes
The campus-based mode utilises lectures, seminars, tutorials, school visits, practical tasks and discussions. The distance education mode utilises material for home study, tutorial and seminar groups, together with two university-based study weekends a year in Birmingham. Campus-based lectures are given by academics who are leaders in research in the Special Educational Needs field. Distance education has a reputation for excellence both nationally and internationally.

Duration: MEd/MA – 1 year full-time, 2–6 years part-time/distance learning; Diploma – 1 year full-time, 2–4 years part-time/distance learning; Certificate – 1 semester full-time, 1–2 years part-time/distance learning
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take test* Applicants should normally have a degree that includes a professional qualification, while applicants for the MA should have a degree.
