This two-year programme offers two parts: Year one aims to develop the creative, critical and elements of artistic, curatorial and writing practice; Year two consolidates and strengthens these elements to achieve specialism and excellence within the professional field. The programme offers an open, rigorous and challenging context, welcoming all forms of practice in an environment that brings together international artists, curators and arts writers in a unique interdisciplinary research-based environment. A core series of critical studies lectures, seminars, tutorials and collaborative opportunities structure the programme where staff and visitors support your development towards a self-directed professional practice.

Students can opt for international study with partner universities, for either a term or a year abroad.
