This is a flexible, multidisciplinary, postgraduate programme designed to meet the professional needs of healthcare professionals working in the clinical practice areas that include supportive and palliative care, minimally invasive surgery, surgical practice and applied dental professional practice, with more specialist pathways planned for 2012/13.
The individual pathways within the programme provide subject-specific skills and knowledge. Further information on each of the pathways within this programme can be obtained from the Centre for Professional Practice.

Assessment
The pathways within the programme include a variety of learning activities depending on the modules studied. These include small group work, seminars, one-to-one tutorials, workshops, practical/clinical session and distance learning through the use of the University's Moodle system. Typically, in the final stage of the programme, you will be expected to complete a dissertation of between 12-15,000 words.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testA first or upper-second class degree or a relevant professional qualification plus a minimum of two years' practicioner experience.
