The second cycle degree programme in Physics aims to form graduates with a highly qualified and specific training in Physics which enable them to operate in the field or further improve their scientific and professional qualifications with more advanced studies (PhD programmes, Second level Professional Master's Degree, Specialisation School for Teaching, Physics for Health…).

Graduates in Physics have skills in various avant-garde scientific fields. Specifically, thanks to a degree programme that is organised in different curricula graduates have the opportunity to choose between basic and applied physics.

One of the specific aims of the programme is to prepare students for the continuation of their studies towards a PhD programme in Physics or in a related subject that will enable them to work in research in Universities, Research Institutes or industry.

The in-depth teaching of both theory and methodology in the various areas of study related to physics provides students with an excellent qualification for work in industry or in the service sector. Graduates are trained to study and analyse phenomena and resolve complex problems in which both planning and managerial skills are required.
