The programme explores the diversity of global religious and spiritual life, and probes relationships between religion, spirituality, society, identity, ethics and popular culture. Students are enabled to study the phenomenon of religion from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives.
Programme Structure
In addition to compulsory core modules on theories and methods in the study of religions and a dissertation, students can choose further modules in areas such as:

Assessment
Assessment for each module is through a written essay.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

* minimum of an upper second class Honours degree in Theology and/or Religious Studies
* minimum of an upper second class honours degree in another relevant subject, together with evidence of certificated learning in religious studies or substantial related experience.
Evidence of a lower qualification may be acceptable if accompanied by substantial appropriate professional or voluntary experience.
