Location of IMC University of Applied Sciences

After completing the programme, students wil be able to assume a wide range of senior and executive positions. Graduates will mainly to on to work in pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies and medical research centres.

Their responsiblities will range from planning and conducting biotechnological processes (fermentation), biomedical and analytical testing to production coordination, quality control and registration of pharmaceutical products. They will also be qualified to work in marketing and distribution departments in pharmaceutical companies.

Requirements

To qualify for admission to the Master programme Medical & Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, you must have obtained a Bachelor or university diploma in a relevant natural sciences or engineering discipline, or provide proof that they have completed a degree in natural sciences or engineering at a recognised Institution of Higher Education in Austria or abroad. Minimum number of ECTS credits required: 180

* Biochemistry, Molecularbiology or Pharmacology
* Biomedical Analytics
* Chemical Engineering
* Nanotechnology, Bioinformatics
* Biology, Chemistry, Physics

The academic board is responsible for checking compliance with the entry requirements on a case-by-case basis once the prospective student’s complete application file has been received.
