The Master of Science in Digital Radio program is designed to give students state-of-the-art methodological, technical and scientific knowledge in radio communications. It gives students opportunities to practice this knowledge by analysis, design, implementation and characterisation of radio communication front-ends. To design electronic systems for new applications with strong requirements particularly in frequency bandwidth, computation power, low power consumption and versatility is a great challenge. Such system integration is not only limited to the theoretical aspects: numerous factors must be considered jointly in order to obtain innovative and efficient solutions. The design of RF communication systems requires competences in physics of semiconductors, propagation, antenna, micro and nanoelectronics but also in signal processing, digital communications and aglobal vision at system level, in terms of functionality, architecture trade-off and economic constraints.
STRONG POINTS OF THE PROGRAM
The program includes courses over two semesters and a one-semester paid internship with industry or in a research laboratory.
Courses are taught in English and address the following topics:
Courses in science and techniques for engineers, economics, international management, human sciences and French language for foreigners are also included
in the program.
Contributors are faculty members from Telecom ParisTech and industry representatives.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
More informationEntry requirements include a four-year Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in the engineering fields covered by the Master program of Telecom ParisTech. A good
background in mathematics, physics, signal processing and electronics is needed.
