We provide a dedicated facility for eye care education and offer a wide range of postgraduate taught courses as well as short courses for eye care professionals in the UK and Internationally, where clinical relevance and learner involvement is our goal.
The School of Optometry and Vision Sciences undertakes highly successful Continuing Education and Continuing Professional Development courses for optometrists and for physicians. These cover all aspects of optometry, including contact lenses and related corneal physiology, the detection and management of glaucoma, diabetes and age-related ophthalmic disorders, the management of low vision and the theory and use of new ophthalmic diagnostic instrumentation.
