For the global change from fossil to renewable energy sources will biofuels play an important role. The Masters Programme in Bioenergy Technology aims to prepare the student to take a professional part in this expanding area.
Disregarding elective courses and the Masters’ thesis, the main contents are:
* Fuel resources and –logistics
* Unit operations and combustion technology
* Investigation methods and mathematical statistics
* Projects as a working model
Your future
The programme provides a basis for a career as an investigator, an environmental auditor or supervisor or as a consultant within the public sector or in private enterprises. The labour market is international – especially for consultants. The programme also offers additional training for improved qualifications with engineers or bachelors already working in the area.
Degree
Upon successful completion of the programme, the student is awarded the degree Master of Science in Bioenergy Technology.

* Logistics (15 cred, advanced level)
* Free choch 7.5 cred alt. Combustion Technolgy I, 7.5 cred)

* Unit operations in bioenergy systems (7.5 cred, advanced level)
* Mathematical statistics (7.5 cred, base level)
* Free choice 15 cred.
Semester 3:
* Project work and methodology (15 cred, advanced level)
* Assessment of biomass resources (7.5 cred, advanced level)
* Scientific methodology (7.5 cred, advanced level)
Semester 4:
* Degree Project (30 cred, advanced level)

* Degree of Bachelor of Science or Technology or the equivalent
* Knowledge in Chemistry or Technical Chemistry equivalent to 15 higher education credits
