The Innovation Technologies: Engineering and Entrepreneurship Master program is proposed by ENSTA ParisTech and Ecole Polytechnique, and the diploma will be issued by both institutions. At each level, step back is necessary to take into account local technical issues. Thus, the need for multidisciplinary research training around a specific project emerged.
Nowadays, any company that is aiming at creating innovative technology should rely on specialists with strong scientific and technical background intertwining several disciplines. Those specialists have also to be good project managers. Three main domains rule the innovation process:
Objectives
The aim of this multidisciplinary Program is to train future R&D engineers and project leaders which will be a part of highly innovative teams. Such specialists, with their resourcefulness and expertise are very valuable for international companies in different sectors. Any company that is aiming at creating innovative technology should rely on specialists with strong scientific and technical background intertwining several disciplines. The ability to manage and in the same time participate in a concrete international project which is developed by a number of people with different backgrounds, are qualities which are useful and esteemed.
Career prospects
The graduates of this Master program should access to international careers. They will be a part of highly innovative teams needed by industrial and commercial groups in order to keep, worldwide, their technological advance and expertise (development of technological breakthroughs). They should also apply for positions in a variety of fields including international consulting companies and investment
The two-year program (120 ECTS) is subdivided into four semesters.
Strong Points:
The scientific and technical training for the Master program is based on the teaching teams of professors of the Ecole Polytechnique and ENSTA and on the expertise on the laboratories present on the campus of Palaiseau. Moreover it profits from the network of the European academic partners of these institutions, in particular Said Business School of the University of Oxford and their network of partners, among whom one can quote Arcelor, Dassault Systems, EDF, Samsung Renault, Valeo, Thales, Lafarge, PSA, and others.
ParisTech courses are recognized by the state. They are regularly evaluated by French and international organizations (e.g. AERES, AQUIS, AACSB, AMBA, etc.).
