In common with our other MBAs, enterprise and innovation are embedded in the programme. On the International Sports Management MBA you will undertake a module (unique in the UK) in Sports Technology and Innovation. Informed by Loughborough’s world-leading research and development of new products, the module provides the opportunity to work directly with Loughborough’s world renowned Institute of Sports Technology in evaluating and developing a commercial plan for new products or technologies.
Modules in media management, the sports management environment and human resources address managerial challenges particular to the world of sport. The module International Sports Management offers a global perspective on the key themes of policy and governance, sports events management and sports performance management.

* Learning and teaching is provided through lectures, seminars and workshops, consultancy style projects, web-based guided study and guided independent work. Case studies and group work feature on a number of modules.
* Feedback to the learning process is through coursework assignment, class tests, one-to-one contact with lecturers and/or tutors. Feedback may sometimes occur through tutorials, seminars or workshops, as determined by individual module organisers.
* Demonstration of learning achievement is through formal examination, tests, coursework assignments, and project reports.
* The International Sports Management MBA is made up core (i.e. compulsory) modules, in total accounting for 120 credits, and an elective theme within the International Sports Management module, accounting for an additional 30 credits. Students develop the theme further as the subject base of their Sports Management Project module which accounts for another 30 credits and completes the 180 credits needed for the programme

Register Now!The International Sports Management MBA is an executive MBA. Successful applicants must hold either a Bachelor’s degree from a UK or recognised foreign University, membership of an approved chartered institute or a Diploma in Management Studies.
Three years’ relevant work experience is also required to ensure our high standard of classroom experience. Students should be able to evidence:

* Academic ability
The requirement for a degree or similar qualification is occasionally waived for those who possess significantly higher levels of experience and achievements – in which case an interview and test will normally be required.
English Language requirements:
The University’s requirement of a minimum IELTS result of 6.5 overall average with at least 6.0 in each component (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), or, a TOEFL result of 100 (internet-based) overall with no less than 21 in Listening, 22 in Reading, 23 in Speaking and 21 in Writing.
