Location of Kings College London

For students with computer science, mathematics, science or engineering backgrounds and good knowledge of computer programming. To improve the ability to solve a broad range of challenging computational problems related to advanced reasoning systems for the web by providing a thorough knowledge of techniques for developing intelligent software, and to provide a broad introduction to web intelligence.

* Web Intelligence has been recognised as a new direction for scientific research and development to explore the fundamental roles as well as practical impacts of the use of artificial intelligence techniques in advanced information technology.
* The programme will cover aspects of web intelligence through internet computing and the web on the one hand, and intelligent agent systems on the other.
* The strength of the programme is the integration of modules on fundamental internet technologies with the unique profile of the complementary aspects of artificial intelligence, algorithmic issues of the web, policies and norms, and agents and multi-agent systems that directly reflect our research expertise.


IELTS

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Requirements

Minimum 2:1 BSc honours degree or equivalent in computer science or related subject, eg mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a joint degree in two such subjects. Competence in computer programming to the level expected at the end of the first year of a BSc honours degree in computer science. We may lower entry qualifications for students with substantial relevant work experience.

Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): Grade A (Score: 80)
