If you are interested or active in management in the private or public sector, this course will develop your broad knowledge of contemporary management through a detailed exploration of the theory and practice of key areas. There is a high degree of flexibility in the modules available and the option to study part-time allows you to fit your career development around your work commitments.

How You Will Study
There is a varied lecture and seminar programme with extensive group work, case studies and guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Assessment is through coursework-based assignments. The final assessment is a dissertation, in which you will examine an area of management that is of interest to you or a company-based project.

The course is available on a full time basis at the University’s Treforest campus with part time study is also available.

Part time provision is also available at our partner colleges in Pembrokeshire, Bridgend and Coleg Sir Gar.

Requirements

A 2:2 Honours degree or an equivalent qualification, or, in exceptional circumstances, three years’ or more significant managerial experience. Learning is also available at partner colleges: Bridgend, Pembroke and Sir Gar.

English language requirement
International applicants will need a good command of English – the equivalent of an IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 575 or more, or computer-based TOEFL 233, depending on the course you are studying.
