Financial institutions have been forced by the globalisation of trade and finance to engage in the international financial market.
Without a knowledge and understanding of international banking theory, practice and procedure, finance managers cannot take the strategic steps required to restructure financial systems in order to operate effectively and efficiently in this new and evolving environment.
The MSc Management and Development of International Financial Systems will empower you to play a valuable role in this exciting field by developing your skills in the areas of banking and finance, with particular emphasis on the international dimension.
The course combines academic rigour with a policy orientation. The varied backgrounds of the teaching team and their range of research and consultancy activities ensure an appropriate blend of academic and practical perspectives. How You Will Study
A range of educational methods is used, such as lectures, group discussions, case study workshops, individual investigative projects and a variety of audio and visual methods. Separate induction and dissertation preparation sessions will also be held.
Learning is by a mixture which includes lectures, tutorials, guest lectures, case studies, audio visuals and field trips.
