You will benefit most from the MSc Total Quality degree if you are an existing or prospective quality manager, or if you are responsible for the management and development of quality systems in the public sector, or service and manufacturing industries. If you successfully complete the course and have suitable experience, you will be able to apply for full membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).

Possible Career Options
MSc Total Quality graduates of this course are likely to occupy senior management positions. Our division is recognised by the CQI as a Centre of Excellence for Quality in Education. We also have a strategic alliance with the Welsh Quality Centre (WQC).

How You Will Study
MSc Total Quality is delivered in three major blocks, which offers an intensive but flexible learning pattern with two start points each year – February and September. You will usually complete two assignments based on case studies or workplace scenarios for each module, plus an examination. Each week, there will be group work, recommended reading and tutorials. Your final dissertation will be based in industry.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Requirements

Entry Requirements:

A good Honours degree in a relevant subject, an appropriate professional qualification, or an HNC/HND with adequate managerial experience.

English Language Entry Requirements:

Proficiency in the English language is essential and the University recognises the following English language qualifications:

* GCSE pass in English at Grade C or above
* The British Council´s International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) with an average overall score of 6.5 for postgraduate study
* TOEFL minimum score for Postgraduate a minimum score of 575 paper based, or 90-91 IBT
* UCLES/ Cambridge CAE or computer-based 232
