Celtic Civilisation is designed to enable students to view the culture of early Ireland within its European context.
The MA in Celtic Civilisation is a one-year (full-time) or two-year (part-time) programme, running for one/two years from the date of first registration for the programme.
This MA is comprised of 60 credits.
30 must be gained from the following options:
* Old Irish (10 credits)
* Medieval Welsh (10 credits)
* Research Seminar (10 credits)
* Special Topic (10 credits)
Students are also required to present a dissertation worth 30 credits of no less than 15,000 words on a topic chosen in consultation with the Department.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
